Should my users all use the same Quik! account, or different ones?

If you are an organization that serves multiple customer organizations, and each customer consists of users that will be using Quik!, then you have two options on how to structure your Quik! account:

  1. All customers use the same Master account that you control, or
  2. All customers use their own Quik! account, which are all considered "child accounts" associated under your Master account. Customer accounts can be created programatically using Quik! Partner Enterprise Web Services, and each customer account will have their own Administrative credentials for logging into their own Quik! Forms Enterprise Manager account. APIs will always be called using Master account credentials.

Quik! recommends that parent customers use option 2 if ANY of the following requirements are relevant to your situation:

  • Each customer will be generating their own proprietary forms that should be kept private from other customers
  • Each customer will be creating their own Form Groups that are specific to their organization and aren't relevant to other customers
  • Each customer will be creating their own Form Rules that are specific to their organization and should not be used by other customers
  • Each customer will be using and managing their own DocuSign accounts with Quik!
  • Each customer wants their own logo to be shown at the top of the Quik! Form Viewer
