When using Quik! Transaction Manager with a small screen resolution (e.g. under 1024 wide x 768 high), you can use a few extra features within Quik! that will help you maximize what you can see on the screen.

Collapsible Left-Hand Navigation

To give you more viewable space on the screen, you can collapse the Collapsible menu and hide it from view. To do this, click the double-left arrow icon (see red box in image) next to the menu. To show the left-hand navigation click the double-arrow pointing to the right and the screen will be restored.

Stretch Column Sizes

In various data grids that display information (e.g. form results, client data, regenerated forms, etc), you can stretch the column widths to display additional data. By default the columns are automatically sized to best display information but you can always shrink or expand columns manually. To temporarily change a column's width, place your cursor on the header (grey bar with names of columns) between two columns so your mouse cursor turns into a left-right arrow. With your mouse drag the column to the left or right to shrink or expand it.
NOTE: Columns will only retain their new size while you have the program open. If you close it or log out the columns will reappear in their default widths.

Move Columns

You can also temporarily move columns in order to make reviewing information easier. For example in the Quik! Client Database screen, you may want to put the Last Name column first and sort on it. To move columns drag the column name (by clicking on the column name in the grey bar) in front of the column where you want it to appear.
NOTE: Columns will only remain in the new location while you have the program open. If you close it or log out the columns will reappear in their default locations and order.
