Pershing Advisor Solutions requires use of their DocuSign account by customers who want to submit forms with e-signatures using DocuSign (a separate DocuSign account can be used as well if the "Send on Behalf of” feature is used). Pershing has a primary account with DocuSign and each user gets their own login to that account.

Pershing also uses a smart “listener” that will automatically route documents in their system based on four special fields on every e-signed form. These data fields (called “tags” in DocuSign) and their values are found in the table below:

FieldName

FieldValue

BusFunction

CASH MANAGEMENT

DocType

ACHA

account.number.office

dynamic - value copied from 1acc.AcctNumPrefix field on form

account.number.number

dynamic - value copied from 1acc.AcctNum field on form

The first two fields are hidden with white text and read-only on the top of the page of all Pershing Advisor Solutions forms in Quik!, and the account number fields are dynamically rendered in white text as well. In addition, all PAS forms have been given a PDF file name prefix of “WKFL_” so that they will be recognized in the Pershing DocuSign system, and routed automatically.

If including other forms in an DocuSign envelope besides PAS forms, and the SignMultipleDocs property is set to TRUE, the others are automatically given a “IGNR_” file name prefix, so they are ignored by the Pershing DocuSign routing system if included with PAS forms. If SignMultipleDocs is set to FALSE, or the bundle does not contain a PAS form, no prefix will be added.

There is no configuration required in order to include these fields for Pershing--they will populate automatically, and will always be hidden on the form. Any customer that wishes to submit forms to Pershing Advisor Solutions with DocuSign can enjoy this integration by default.
