Prefill Multiple Copies of The Same Form

Quik! allows multiple copies of the same form to be added to a single form package and be prefilled with separate form data. For example, if you are opening a set of accounts for a househould, you might want to provide a new account form for each account but prefill each form for different people.

Instructions

To generate a form package with multiple copies of the same form there are two things you must do:

  1. Include the Quik! Form ID of the form(s) you want to duplicate separated by commas.
    1. Example: A single form that repeats three times: "2,2,2"
    2. Example: form package that repeats twice: "12,14,2,12,14,2"
    3. Example: form package with a repeating form: 12,14,2,14"
  2. To prefill the additional form copies with data from your data source, you need to append a field instance to the field name. (e.g. "1own.FName-1")
    1. Example: First name field for the first instance of the form: "1own.FName"
    2. Example: First name field for the first additional copy of the form: "1own.FName-1"
    3. Example: First name field for the second additional copy of the form: "1own.FName-2"

To prefill fields on any additional copy of a form, just append "-#" to the end of the field name with the "#" representing the instance of the additional form (e.g. "-1" for the first additional copy, "-4" for the fourth additional copy).
