Install Steps

  1. Login to Quik! Customer Central, https://www.quikforms.com
  2. Launch the Quik! Transaction Manager website
  3. Click the Download Software image
  4. Download the software
  5. Launch the downloaded software file (QuikSetup.exe)
  6. Follow the installation prompts
  7. Begin using Quik! Transaction Manager desktop version

Detailed Install Steps For Quik! Transaction Manager Desktop

Step 1. Log In to Quik! Customer Central

Open your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) and navigate to https://www.quikforms.com/. Enter the username and password you established when you setup your user account. Once logged in you will be taken to the Quik! Customer Central main menu page.

Step 2. Launch the Quik! Transaction Manager Website

Quik! Customer Central website is where you manage your customer account, users and products. To actually use one of your products (e.g. Quik! Transaction Manager), click on the image link for the product you want to use. Click the link for Quik! Transaction Manager (see red box in image below).

Step 3. Click the Download Software image

Once logged into the Quik! Transaction Manager website, click the Download software image (see red box in image below).

Step 4. Download the Software

The download software page should appear with a set of instructions for downloading the software. Click the download link (see red box in image below) to begin the download process.

When you click the link, your browser should prompt to run or save the file. It is recommended that you always save files to your hard-drive instead of running them (this protects you from viruses, malicious software and helps you reinstall software later).

Step 5. Launch the Downloaded Software file (quiksetup.exe)

To begin the installation process, double-click the quiksetup.exe file you downloaded and saved.

Step 6. Follow the Installation Prompts

The installation will first determine if your system is compatible. If your computer is missing the Microsoft .NET Framework, you will be prompted to download and install it. The correct version of the .NET framework must be installed or Quik! won't work properly.

Please wait while this screen finishes loading, or click "Cancel" to abort the installation.
When you see the Welcome screen, click the Next button.

After reading the end-user license agreement (EULA), choose "I accept…" and click "Next". If you don't accept the EULA you can abort the installation and discontinue.

The Ready to Install page shows you a summary of actions the installer will take. Click the Install button to begin.

Be sure to answer any system prompts (e.g. allow Quik! to access the internet through your firewall, confirm that you trust Quik! to be installed, etc.).

Please be patient while the installer runs.
When the installation is complete, you will receive an "InstallShield Wizard Completed" message. Click "Finish".

Now that the installation is complete, you can run Quik! Transaction Manager for the first time.

Step 7. Begin using Quik! Transaction Manager Desktop Version

To begin using Quik! Transaction Manager, click the icon on your desktop which looks like this:

Alternatively you can start Quik! from the Start menu. Select "All Programs" then look for a new folder called Quik! Transaction Manager. Within the Quik! Transaction Manager folder, there should be an icon for Quik! Transaction Manager that looks just like the one on your desktop (see the above image).
When you run Quik! Transaction Manager you will be prompted to enter a username and password. Enter the same username and password you set up for your user account in the Quik! Customer Central or Quik! Transaction Manager website.
HINT: Click the "Remember Me" checkbox to save your user info.
