How To Restart Generated Forms
To restart forms you previously generated, click "Restart Generated Forms" on the Navigation bar or on the Collapsible menu
You can also regenerate forms by clicking the Regenerate icon on the Home page.
The Generated Forms screen will appear as shown below. To regenerate a form package with the latest form versions and client and advisor data, check the box next to the record you want to regenerate then click the Regenerate button (see the red boxes in the image below).
After a form has regenerated, click Load to insert the changes and additions you had previously made and saved. For changes to load as expected, they must have been saved properly. For more information, see the section titled, "Save".
NOTE: If you select multiple records and then click Regenerate, only the first record will be regenerated.
Find Generated Form Records
When you open the Generated Forms screen, you will only see the forms generated in the past month. However, all the forms you generated (unless you deleted them) are still stored by Quik!. If you wish to find forms that were generated more than 30 days ago, enter a start and end date and then click "Search".
You can also do specific searches for clients, forms, literature numbers and form companies (Dealer). To start a new search or clear your results click the Reset button.
View Generated Forms Report
Quik! is automatically storing all the forms you generated and that data can be made available to you in an Excel XML report format. To start a report, check off the form records you want to include and then click the Report button in the lower right corner of the screen.
NOTE: If you don't choose any form records to include in your report, then you will be prompted to run the report for all records.
When the report runs you are asked to choose a location to save the report file and to name the file. Once you have saved the file, you can open it by double-clicking the file you saved from the save location.
The report file is an Excel-based XML file and when it opens, Excel will prompt you to choose how you want the file to open and be used.
For best results choose the first option, "As an XML list". When the file opens you should see all your records. Be aware that records are grouped by the date and time they started with client records and form records on separate lines.
Deleting Generated Form Records
As you create forms over time, you will accumulate many form records that can be regenerated. In fact, the form records will continue to accumulate unless you delete them. To delete a generated form record, check the box next to each record and then click the Delete button at the bottom of the screen.
NOTE: You will be prompted to confirm that you want to delete the record because there is no UNDO command. Once records are deleted they are permanently deleted.
