View Error Log

From time to time Quik! will encounter an error and log it in the error log. Errors can be unexpected (e.g. system bugs) or expected based on user events that are known to cause errors (e.g. connecting to a database incorrectly). When trying to resolve a problem on your own or when speaking with Customer Support, it may be helpful to view the error log and see what was logged. To view the error log, click the "View Error Log" link on the Collapsible menu or Help menu.
The error log viewer will appear with any errors logged by date. Click the date of the error you want to view and then click on an error to display the details.

Not all of the information displayed will be useful to you but the Message and Error Description components may give insight as to what is wrong.
You can delete your error log by clicking "Clear Error Log" on the bottom right of the screen (only recommended if you are sure you don't need the messages any more). You can also click the "Send Error Log" link to send your errors to our support team for analysis (see the red box in the image above).
Error logs can also be sent from the Collapsible menu or Help menu.
