Client Data Source Overview
A client data source is any file, database or system, used to manage your client data. What makes Quik! unique is its ability to seamlessly read client data from over 30 different data sources. That means your data stays in your data source (it is not exported) and is pulled directly onto the forms in real-time. With Quik! you only have to manage your data in your existing system!
While Quik! can communicate with most popular CRMs, not every database is supported out of the box. In some cases, you will either need to contact us to have your unique database set up (a one-time fee may apply) or export the data to Excel or a CSV (Comma-Separated-Value) text file.
To get Quik! to use your client data source, you need to set up a connection to the data source. After that, your data source will be available whenever you start forms. You can set up connections to as many different data sources as you have, and Quik! will read from them all.
NOTE: By default Quik! comes with its own proprietary database. This database is only designed to help users who have no other alternatives.
