Check For Updates
Periodically updates to the Quik! Transaction Manager software will become available. To find out if you need an update, look on the Home page of the desktop version in the Status section. When an update is needed, it will be indicated here.
To get the latest version, click the "Check For Updates" in the Tools section of the Home page. There are also "Check for Updates" links on the Help menu and in Administrative Functions section of the Collapsible menu. When you click the link, this will launch a web page where you can download the latest version.
Before installing a new version, make sure that the old version is closed. Most installations will be 'upgrades' to your existing installations so old versions will be uninstalled automatically. For more details on installing updates, please review the section titled, "{*}How To Install Quik! Transaction Manager*".
To check your current version, click "About Quik!" on the Help menu.
NOTE: Before uninstalling or installing an upgrade to Quik! please backup your system using the Backup and Restore features.
